I ordered this cake for my daughters 13th birthday and it was a great success. Cake was not as sweet as other vanilla cakes I have purchased as it has only one layer only of vanilla buttercream in the middle, not 2 or 3, So you can actually taste the sponge in it as well. The top of the cake has a layer of vanilla and then this delicious pink icing which is so indulgent, it's actually quite hard to stop eating. While the cake appears small, it's actually quite filling so if served at a party cut a big piece and then cut that into two and it will go a long way. Really happy with the taste of this vanilla cake. My daughter only eats vanilla cake and i have ordered from many places without much luck. Either the cake taste dense, or way too sweet or rich, or the buttercream tastes artificial, but with this cake my daughter loved the taste (although she couldn't eat all the pink icing on it as she got quite full as there is alot of it, and wanted all of the vanilla part of it) Will definitely purchase again!
