The Zoo Gift box

When going to collect our zoo cupcakes from one of the stores, the cupcake box had squished the top of our cupcakes, so parts of the animals were lifted off the cupcakes and stuck on the clear bit of the box. It was frustrating as the staff were unable to offer any help or proper explanation, I even had to pay $2 for a bag to carry them to make sure no further squishing occurred. I really wished they had checked the state of the cupcakes when delivered, it would have been nice to atleast get a heads up or something to make the situation less upsetting. I know it's only cupcakes but they were for a really special occasion, and I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time, I would just be cautious ordering online.
